Terms of use.
Plain terms for the MonFunded Challenge and the MonFunded app. They are short on purpose: read them before you pay for an assessment.
What the challenge is
The MonFunded Challenge is a simulated trading evaluation. Accounts are virtual balances priced at live market prices by MonFunded's server. No real position is opened for your account, no money is invested on your behalf, and the balances shown are not deposits.
An assessment runs on a simulated account of $5,000 to $400,000 under one of two risk profiles, Tight or Medium. The limits of each profile are shown on the rules page and in the app before you pay.
Assessment fees
An assessment costs a one-time fee from $30 to $2,000, depending on the profile and the account size, paid from your MonFunded wallet to the MonFunded Challenge contract on Monad in USDC, AUSD or MON. A MON payment is swapped to USDC on Kuru inside the same transaction.
Fees are non-refundable once the account is active, as the refund policy explains. One address can run one assessment at a time; a funded account doesn't stop you from buying a new one.
Rules
Every account has a daily loss limit, measured from its equity at 00:00 UTC, and a maximum drawdown, a static floor under the starting balance that never moves. An assessment also has a profit target. There is no time limit and no minimum number of trading days.
Orders fill at the first price published after they reach the server and a short delay it adds (0.2 to 0.5 seconds); a pending order without a fresh price is cancelled. Leverage is capped at the market's own maximum on Perpl for crypto, and on MonFunded liquidity at 30× for forex, 20× for metals and indices and 10× for energies and base metals. Forex and CFD prices come from MonFunded liquidity, MonFunded's own, which takes the other side of those trades; one order, and one instrument's open positions together, are each capped at $5,000,000 on forex, $2,000,000 on metals and indices and $1,000,000 on energies and base metals, and a position can't be closed while its instrument is closed or MonFunded liquidity is paused. Each position must stay open at least 60 seconds before you close it.
Breaking a limit, in either phase, closes open positions at market and ends the account permanently. There are no resets.
Fair play
Copy trading between accounts (the same market, side and size on two or more accounts within minutes, whoever holds them) and shared accounts (one person behind several addresses, or several people behind one) are not allowed.
The server records the signals that suggest either, including IP addresses. A person reviews them and may end an account for conduct: open positions are closed at market, the account fails, the fee is kept and no further withdrawals are accepted.
You may use software agents, including the MonFunded plugin for MetaMask Agent Wallet, to trade your account. You are responsible for everything your agent does: the same rules apply, including one assessment per wallet and no copy trading or shared accounts. Fees an agent pays are non-refundable, and payouts go only to the wallet that owns the account.
Funded accounts and the profit split
Reaching the profit target with no open positions makes the same account a funded account. Its balance resets to the account size; profit above the target at that moment is not paid.
Funded traders may withdraw profit on demand. Of every amount withdrawn, 80% is paid to the trader and 20% stays with MonFunded. Withdrawals are at least $10 and capped per UTC day at 20% of the account size or $5,000, whichever is lower. A withdrawal the reserve could not cover is refused before it happens; an accepted withdrawal is never reversed.
Payouts
Payouts are made by the MonFunded Challenge contract on Monad from its public reserve, in USDC or AUSD as you choose, only to the address that paid for the assessment. MonFunded's server signs every withdrawal; the operator sends the payout, and you may also claim a signed withdrawal from the contract yourself. Payout wallets may be screened before payment.
The Live tier
MonFunded may invite funded traders to operate a real Perpl account that MonFunded funds and owns. The operator can trade it but can't withdraw from it, and MonFunded's risk engine applies the same limits. The terms of each Live account are given with the invitation and can end at any time.
Who may take part
You must be at least 18 years old. MonFunded may refuse or end the participation of traders in jurisdictions under sanctions, or where a service like this is not allowed, and may refuse any address at its discretion. Checking the rules that apply to you, including tax, is your responsibility.
Hackathon software, no guarantee
MonFunded was built for a hackathon and has not been audited. It is provided as is, without warranty. Prices, fills and rule checks depend on third-party data that can be late or wrong; the server can be down; the service may change or end at any time.
Your wallet and the app
Your MonFunded wallet is self-custody: MonFunded never holds your keys or your coins and can't reverse a transaction. Swaps run on Kuru and perps on Perpl, under their own terms. Trading carries risk, including the loss of everything you trade. Nothing on this site is financial advice.

Changes
These terms may change; the date at the top says when. Using the challenge after a change means you accept it. A running account keeps the rules it started with.
